Lagos Exhibition & Family Consultations

19–20 September 2026
The George Hotel, Ikoyi, Lagos

Discover the Best of British Boarding Education

UK Boarding Schools Week returns to Lagos this September, bringing together a carefully selected group of leading British boarding schools and sixth form colleges for two days of information, advice and personal consultations.

On Saturday 19 September 2026, families are invited to attend the main exhibition, where they can meet school representatives, learn about different educational pathways and explore which schools may be the best fit for their child.

On Sunday 20 September 2026, participating schools will be available for pre-booked individual family meetings, providing an opportunity for more detailed discussions about your child’s education, academic profile, interests and future aspirations.

Both events will take place at: The George Hotel, Ikoyi, Lagos

Why Consider a UK Boarding School?

For generations, families from across Africa have chosen UK boarding schools because they offer far more than excellent academic results.

A British boarding education helps young people develop confidence, independence, resilience and leadership skills in a safe and supportive environment. Students benefit from outstanding teaching, small class sizes, exceptional pastoral care and access to world-class facilities for sport, music, drama, art and other co-curricular activities.

UK boarding schools also provide:

  • Excellent preparation for leading universities in the UK, North America and around the world.
  • A structured environment that encourages academic achievement and personal growth.
  • Opportunities to develop lifelong friendships with students from many different countries.
  • Strong support for international students adapting to a new educational environment.
  • A focus on character development, leadership and responsibility.
  • Access to specialist pathways including GCSEs, A Levels, foundation programmes and university preparation courses.

For many families, a UK boarding school education is not simply about academic success; it is an investment in a child’s future, personal development and global opportunities.

Why Attend UK Boarding Schools Week?

This event provides a unique opportunity to:

  • Meet admissions teams and senior representatives from leading UK schools.
