“International students are relying more than ever on agents”
“International students are relying more than ever on agents in their decision-making about study abroad’, according to an article in ICEF Monitor reporting on a survey by QS, finding that the “entire recruitment landscape going into next year is much different than it ever has been.”
“Educators who know how to integrate agents into their #internationalmarketing plans stand to gain an important edge in target countries,” the article comments.
The report, “How to Navigate the Challenges of Agent Management in 2021” focuses on student recruitment into global universities.
From my perspective, I agree with the message that: “…there was a 33% increase in conversions when agent-managed students are engaged with directly throughout their decision-making journey.”
A key point is that: “Up-to-date information about intake start dates, course offerings, fees, scholarships, or policy changes are critical to student decision making, particularly in a year where there is so much movement and so many unknowns.”
It explains why our Mark Brooks Education consultancy services are so busy (and crucial) at this time – as we work together to support outstanding students from #Nigeria and #Ghana to gain admission into leading #ukboarding schools.
